The statement, "we go back to our sinful nature! it's the way we were created!" could quite possibly be

the largest misconception in all of Christianity.

It is being proposed that we as Christians can cancel out God's mercy with our sin, and if that
were the case, we would be called Catholics. The whole idea behind Romans 8:38-39 is that no matter
what we cannot lose our salvation.

The second part of the problem is that those using the above statement, is that they are

accusing God almighty, The Holy God, Jehovah of creating sin. Beyond the obvious foolishness of this,

there are some doctrines that would go in the trash if this were true.

”Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempteth he any man."

God turned His back on His only son Jesus, because of the sin that was on Him during the crucifixion. If you think for one second that, that same God, CREATED the sin that he hates, you are just not an intelligent person. I'm sorry.

Please understand, I am not saying that Christians can't sin, I've disproved that, but I'm just asking that all would read the word, and believe what they read, NOT try to correct God, or mangle the truth so that it makes us look less guilty. Blaming God only makes us dumb. Let's all put on our big-kid-underwear and treat sin like sin, and confess and forsake it.
