Love.
It's a word thrown around by so many people,
and
is rarely found under a church's steeple.
Because
we are so busy telling them what's wrong with them,
we
neglect to show them how much they mean to Him.
we
as Christians are responsible for exhortation,
but
all we ever bring is condemnation.
why
don't we put down our stones and lift each other up,
and
stop acting like judges that have gone corrupt.
so
let's stop tearing down and start building back,
that
spirit of love, which we desperately lack.
Because
if Jesus walked into the back of the church today,
He
wouldn't be glorified, He would be pushed out of the way.
We
say we love Him and "oh Jesus you're great"
what
we mean is, "Jesus keep your riches in mercy, I'll take the cut
rate."
Jesus
didn't come to condemn the world, He came to save it.
And
if we actually acted like Him, we wouldn't want to just sit.
The
church as a whole, it would seem has given up,
not
caring about the world, and not sharing the grace cup.
so
we sit around wallowing in self pity and contrition,
when
we should be concerned with the great commission.
Stop
being selfish with the Love of God,
and
with the Gospel of Peace have our feet shod.
