Something to be Shared.

 

When we are walking down the street, what do we see?

is it someone in trouble? someone in need?

we carry this message of hope and love,

but we say 'no they'll be okay' and fly away like a dove.

we have this truth, and what a privilege it is,

to  walk around knowing that no matter what, we are His.

In John 1:9 it says if we confess,

all this means is repent and turn from our ways, but I digress.

our sin,

these  wrong things we know deep down within,

He is faithful and just,

more than something on earth that will just up and rust.

and my favorite part of all, to forgive us,

this is something only Jesus could do, only from someone Just.

and to cleans us from all unrighteousness,

whether it's murder, lust, pride or even covetousness.

See this Love that we know, that we hold to and grasp,

is something to be shared, in the future and in times past.
